Professional Canvas Primer 2.5 Ltre
Some artists like to keep control of every step of the painting process. Stretching and priming canvas is the foundation for every painting, so care needs to be taken to do a professional job. This non-toxic primer has been developed for our own use and will work perfectly with both oil and acrylic paints. Using a base of high quality co-polymer acrylic emulsion and titanium dioxide pigment, this bright white primer gives just the right combination of absorbency and flexibility the painter needs from their substrate. The primer bonds permanently to the canvas, remaining both white and flexible over time.
Apply two coats with brush or roller, the first diluted 10% with water, directly to the canvas. For a smoother finish, sand lightly between coats. Wash up with soap and water. Coverage will vary, but can be estimated at about seven square metres per litre.
